Life for many families in rural areas of Eastern Europe is unbelievably tough. Work is scarce and poorly paid. With no support from the state, families often find themselves living in poor quality housing with no running water or indoor toilet.
Many parents cannot afford to buy education materials, and their children miss out on school as a result. Daily life is a relentless struggle, and the future holds little promise.
But you can help a family on a journey to a happier and more secure future.
The difference your sponsorship will make
As a sponsor, your support will make a direct and profound difference to many aspects of your sponsored family’s life.
Practical support
While helping the family to improve their economic situation, we will provide essential items such as school supplies, food, toiletries, medicine and clothing.
Vocational support
To boost family livelihoods, we offer vocational support, from classes in IT, sewing and languages to animal husbandry and agricultural skills.
Emotional support
We will provide a long-term network of support, backed by the local church, helping the family build relationships and become more hopeful about the future.
Spiritual support
The family will receive spiritual input and encouragement and will be able to join in Christian events and activities, such as summer camps for the children.

How Sponsorship works
You can sponsor a family from one of six countries - Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania or Ukraine.
You’ll be directly linked to a family, and we’ll send you an information pack about them, their situation and the challenges they face.
You’ll receive updates on their progress as well as Christmas cards, letters and any news on family developments.
If you choose to, you can write to your sponsored family, pray for them and even visit them in person.
